Our First Month

YES! THEY HAVE AMERICAN SODA IN JAPAN!

Last week, we visited the city where they held the annual Fireworks Competition. It is called 花火祭り(はなびまつり)or also called 花火大会(はなびたいかい).It is a very big fireworks show, similar to America’s July 4th fireworks celebrations, where roughly 100 firework artists compete as contestants to put up their best fireworks show. The competition resulted to 3 hours of a breathtaking, spectacular and dazzling show I will never forget!

Supposedly, the strongest typhoon to hit Japan in a decade has come. It’s been raining morning and night and the winds are very strong, an estimated 130+ mph for today from sources. All bus lines and train stations around our city are cancelled for the day. That means we will be studying Japanese very hard today. 一所懸命勉強します!(いっしょけんめいべんきょうします!)Then after, we will go to my favorite beef bowl shop: MATSUYA!
